G&J Pepsi Celebrates Women’s History Month
Women’s History Month comes to an end on March 31. During this month, G&J Pepsi partnered with Pepsi Beverages North America’s South Division Women’s Inclusion Network with activities and events to honor the women of PepsiCo who contribute to our success and inspire us with their courage and commitment.
Kristie Ferriell-Beck, G&J’s Vice President of Human Resources, shared her story and insights during the Leadership Lessons Series. The series featured inspiring messages from South Division and Independent Bottler executives on how to be a more effective and inspirational leader.
G&J’s own Stephenie Barnes, Melissa Andrade and April Thrasher participated in a discussion to kick off PBNA’s Breast Cancer Awareness efforts. And several G&J team members took part in Female Feud, an online game show competition with others in the PBNA South Division.
To close the month, G&J announced it will be increasing its involvement with Women’s Foodservice Forum. WFF works to accelerate the advancement of women leaders in the foodservice industry. G&J chose a cross-functional team of delegates, representing sales, operations, accounting/finance, human resources and DTBT, to attend this year’s WFF Conference. G&J’s representatives joined others in the 100+-person PepsiCo contingent attending the conference.
G&J is committed to supporting women in their professional and personal development throughout the year.
