We took the 2024 Polar Plunge!
G&J Pepsi was proud to be the presenting sponsor of the 2024 Polar Plunge for Special Olympics Ohio. The event raised over $273,000 for the organization, which helps provide sports, health education, and leadership programs to over 20,000 athletes.
A Special Olympics athlete, Maxwell, officially began the event by carrying a torch to the stage on Lower.com Stadium’s plaza. G&J Pepsi’s CEO, Tim Trant, then honored the top individual donors for the cause before the individual and group costume contests. G&J Pepsi’s “six pack” of MTN DEW Code Red Cans joined the ranks of ’80s costumes, Lovebugs, Frozen characters, and more in the group costume contest. While the team didn’t place, they had a great time spinning and dancing on stage to warm up before taking the plunge.
Thank you to Tim Trant, Sam Payton, Erica Marcum, Mike Hampton, Carrie Stevens, Jeff Green, and James Carpenter for freezing for a reason this year!
